Happy Easter!  Welcome back to school for term 2. I hope everyone has had a lovely holiday, we were certainly very blessed with the weather. We will be celebrating Easter as a whole school, at Mass on Thursday morning, all are welcome to attend.
 
Easter Raffle
Congratulations to all of the winners of the Easter raffle that was drawn on the last day of last term. A big congratulations to the parents who coordinated and wrapped the prizes, they looked stunning. Thank you to all who donated eggs, bought tickets or were some way involved in making it so successful, your support of the school is always appreciated.
 
Anzac Day March
Thank you to the families and staff that were able to represent the school at the march last Thursday. I was very impressed with the turnout, especially since it was during the last week of the school holidays. Thank you to the parents who are sending through some photos, we will put them on the school website.
 
Uniform
As it is going to be quite warm this week please use your discretion as to whether your children wear summer or winter uniforms. Please ensure however that they are not a combination of both.

Yesterday we gathered in the Hall for a short ceremony to commemorate ANZAC Day. In our prayers we gave thanks for the women and men who have paid the ultimate sacrifice. We also prayed for an everlasting peace in our world.

Thank you very much for your generous donations to Project Compassion over the season of Lent. We raised $367.40 which will be forwarded to Caritas Australia.

Woolworths Earn and Learn
We are excited to be taking part in the Woolworths Earn & Learn program again this year.  If you usually shop in Woolworths you can help our school by collecting Woolworths Earn & Learn Points.  Just collect Woolworths Earn & Learn Points when you do your normal shop at Woolworths between Wednesday 1st May and Tuesday 25th June.  Simply pop them onto a Woolworths Earn & Learn Points Sheet and once it's completed, just bring it back to school or drop it into the collection box at your local Woolies. The more we collect, the more we can redeem for educational resources for our school.

 We are grateful for your support and look forward to a successful program. If you have any questions, please ask at school.

A massive thank you to everyone who donated easter eggs for the raffle.  We managed to raise a HUGE $918 which is an awesome effort.   Congratulations to all of the winners.

The P&F Mother's Day Stall is Friday 10th May from 9am.  There will be a variety of gifts available ranging from $1 to $10.   

Helpers will be needed on the day to help with the stall.  If you are able to help on the day, please meet at school after morning assembly.
