Mary MacKillop Feast Day
This Friday, the 7th August St Michael’s will be celebrating the amazing life of St Mary MacKillop. Our feast day will be filled with exciting activities. We will start the day with a Liturgy. Students will then participate in “olden day” activities in the classroom, followed by a variety of games organised by our Year 6 class. Students will be able to dress up in old fashioned clothes. Some of our Year 6 students have been wearing old fashion clothes at our morning assembly to give ideas on what old fashion clothes look like. Students are asked to bring a donation of a gold coin to support the Maubara Orphanage in East Timor. These donations help support the children with shelter and education. It helps us connect with Mary MacKillop and her life works of educating and caring for children in need. It will be fantastic to see all our students dressed in old fashion clothes. The day will go ahead as planned even if it is wet weather.
MASS
Be assured that in the Parish, every precaution is being observed to ensure the safety of those who come to Mass: distancing is clearly marked in the Church and maintained during Mass; all of the liturgical restrictions are followed (Communion in the hand and no singing); the Church is cleaned after each Mass; registration of those who attend is carefully recorded; sanitising is practiced by all who enter the Church. So, please, if you are well and able do not be hesitant about coming to Mass.

The drawing of the raffle for the car has, for obvious reasons, been deferred to early 2021, but tickets remain on sale. Please visit our website www.ccsh.org.au to buy tickets. An ideal Christmas gift perhaps!
