Last Friday we celebrated Grandparents and great people in the lives of our students. A very big thankyou to all Grandparents and great people who attended the liturgy and the amazing concert.

On Monday the 2^nd September we celebrated the World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation with a whole school Liturgy. It is a season dedicated to prayer for the protection of creation and the promotion of sustainable life styles running from 1 September to the 4 of October (the feast of St Francis of Assisi). Pope Francis calls us all to celebrate this moment to “reaffirm our personal vocation to be stewards of creation, to thank God for the wonderful handiwork that he has entrusted to our care, and to ask his help for the protection of creation, as well as his pardon for the sins committed against the world in which we live”. During this time as followers of God, we need look at how we interact with our environment and think about ways we can reduce our own carbon footprint.
