ICAS COMPETITIONS

ICAS (International Competitions and Assessments for Schools) offers assessments designed to target students’ higher-order thinking and problem-solving skills. Participation in these assessments is completely optional and therefore does not contribute towards St Michael’s assessment of students. Parents of children (Year 3 to Year 6) have the option to register their child for one or more of the assessments. Each assessment incurs a cost paid for by parents.

The enrolment / registration / payment process is now all conducted by parents online using a unique school link. Once a child’s name, date of birth and school grade has been entered, a parent will be asked to select the assessments they wish their child to participate in. The payment process will then be initiated.
