SOCCER GALA DAY

This Thursday is the Soccer Gala Day at Picton. All details for those attending are on COMPASS. Thank you to our parents and staff who are attending the day to support our students. Staff onsite at Picton will be Mr Sherry, Mr Adams, Mrs Williamson and Mrs Whipp.

DIOCESAN ATHLETICS TRIALS

Last week, six of our students participated in the Wollongong Diocese Primary Athletics Selection Trials at Beaton Park Athletics Track, Wollongong. This event brings together the first four place getters from the Western Region and South Coast Region for a chance to represent the Wollongong Diocese at the Mackillop Trials. We are so proud of our six students for their participation:  Lucijana (100m), Tobias (100m), Katie (shot put), Aoife (discus), James (800m) and Will (800m, 1500m and high jump). Congratulations to all of our students and special mention to Will for achieving selection as a Wollongong Representative for his three events, finishing an extremely close 2nd today in both the 800m and 1500m, plus winning his high jump event! Will's jump of 1.37 m was a personal best as well!
