St Vincent De Paul Winter Food Appeal

Each year during the colder months many people in our community are in need of basic necessities, especially food. Each winter our St Michael’s community runs a non-perishable food drive. This includes any items that can be kept in a pantry for a long period of time. St Vincent De Paul Mittagong makes this food available for the people of need in our community. Starting from Monday 24th June to Friday the 5th July we will hold our annual drive. A list of items for each class will be sent home before the above date. Thank you for your support on behalf of the St Vincent De Paul Society.

Reconciliation Week Liturgy

Each year, Australians have an opportunity during Reconciliation Week to reflect on the past and take action towards a more reconciled Australia. On Monday the 27th May our school community marked the commencement of Reconciliation week with a Liturgy. Thank you to Year 6 for leading our liturgy.

Science and Engineering Day

The Southern Highlands Rotary Club of Bowral - Mittagong offered students from Year 6 the opportunity to be involved in the ‘Southern Highlands Science and Engineering Discovery Day’. The day was held at the Mittagong RSL Club on Tuesday 28th May 2024. The day included a set of fun activities planned to inspire young people about the opportunities available through science, technology and engineering. We were very fortunate to send 8 students from Year 6 that were able to participate. Our wonderful group of students also managed to come third over all. A BIG thank you to Mrs Eggleston for attending this day with Year 6.
