She taught me to crawl
Then to walk and run,
and get up when I fall
 
Nurtured and cared for
She raised me to stand
Lifted, supported, by her loving hand,

Nothing was impossible for me, it seemed

To the life in Christ I know today
 
Lord we thank you for our mothers

We wish all of our mothers, grandmothers and carers a very happy Mothers’ Day for Sunday, we hope you have a beautiful day.

NAPLAN
Over the next two weeks our Year 3 & 5 students will be undertaking the NAPLAN assessments. For the first time the assessments will be completed online except for the Year 3 writing assessment. Parents of students in these grades can help their children by trying not to stress them about the assessments, treat it as just another day as these assessments are just a snapshot of the student’s capabilities. Make sure however, that they aren’t late and have breakfast before they come to school. All students will need to ensure that they have their headphones with them each day and the Year 5 students bring their iPads fully charged.

Cross Country
We wish all of the students who will be attending the cross country carnival this week all the best, we hope they enjoy the day.

Years 5 and 6 Excursion to Canberra
Please note that the bus will be leaving the school promptly at 6.30am.  Please ensure that students are on time as we will be unable to wait.
