Thank you to all the families who have already donated to our non-perishable food item drive. We will be collecting food items until this Friday 29th July. Thank you to Mrs West for the very special prayer last Friday reminding us that we are the “face of God”.

Year 4 Mubara Fundraiser  

Mary MacKillop Feast Day

On Monday the 8th of August, our school will celebrate the Feast Day of St Mary of the Cross MacKillop. This is also the 150th Anniversary of the Josephite Sisters in New South Wales. Students are asked to come dressed in olden-day style clothes. Celebrations will start with a liturgy in the hall, a award presentation, where Mrs West will present the Mary MacKillop Awards. After Lunch, the Year 6 students will lead the  “olden day games”

It will be a wonderful day to celebrate Mary MacKillop and the Sister of St Joseph.

PARISH Mass for the Feast of St Mary MacKillop

To all parishioners in the Wollongong Diocese, you are invited to a Mass with Bishop Brian Mascord on Monday the 8th of August at 12pm (Midday), to celebrate the Feast day of St Mary of the Cross MacKillop and the 150th Anniversary of the Josephite Sisters in New South Wales. Following Mass, Bishop Brian Mascord will bless the new Statue for the Unborn, provided by the Catholic Women’s League. A light lunch will be provided by the Catholic Women’s League in the Xavier Centre. All are welcome. Please contact the Parish office if you have any questions.
